The 2026 FIDA Intercontinental Cup will bring together the world’s top drone soccer players in Incheon
From July 15 to 17, 2026, the city of Incheon, South Korea, will host the 2026 FIDA Intercontinental Cup. More than twenty nations are expected to attend what promises to be one of the year’s biggest international Drone Soccer events, bringing together national teams, clubs, pilots, and officials for three days of competition and networking.
The International Drone Soccer Federation (FIDA) invites the global Drone Soccer community to Songdo Convensia in Incheon, South Korea, from July 15 to 17, 2026, for the 2026 FIDA Intercontinental Cup.
A true international showcase for the sport, this edition will bring together delegations from more than twenty countries. National teams, clubs, elite pilots, officials, and federation representatives will gather to celebrate the growth of this rapidly expanding sport.
The sports program promises to be particularly exciting, featuring several major competitions. National teams will compete in the Class 40 and Class 20 categories, while the top international clubs will compete in the Class 20 Club Challenge. Spectators will also be able to watch the highly anticipated Super Pilot All-Star Match, a prestigious event bringing together some of the sport’s best pilots.
Beyond the competitions, the event will also mark an important milestone for the governance of drone soccer with the holding of the 3rd FIDA General Assembly, during which international representatives will discuss the future development of the sport.
The festivities will begin on July 14 with a welcome dinner bringing together the international delegations, followed by the official draw for the various competitions.
Participants’ performances will be recognized with official awards presented by the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, the Incheon Metropolitan City, and FIDA. A prize fund is also planned for the Class 20 Club Challenge competition, further enhancing the sporting appeal of this event.
As with all international competitions sanctioned by FIDA, matches must be played exclusively with official balls approved by the federation and in accordance with current international regulations.
With an increasingly strong international field and an ambitious organizational plan, the 2026 FIDA Intercontinental Cup is expected to once again underscore South Korea’s central role in the global development of drone soccer and offer a top-tier spectacle for both fans and participants in the sport.
